Enter into "Know your Client" agreement with your broker

Insist on receiving Contract Note within 24 hours of the trade

Always make/ receive payments by cheque/ draft

Ask for OTCEI guidelines with regard to clearing & settlement

Send untransferred documents for transfer before book closure dates

Approach our IGC, if there is a delay in receiving payment/securities within stipulated time

Make sure you make payment /deliver shares on time when you buy/sell.

Trade in dematerialised securities, if facility available at your end.
