Norms For Dealers

1) Individuals

Age : Minimum 21 years and not more than 60 years

Networth Requirements - Minimum Rs 15 Lakhs excluding the value of membership/dealership/deposits with OTCEI / Other StockExchanges.

Minimum Educational Qualifications - Graduate

Experience - Minimum 2 years experience in Capital Markets / Stockbroking / Portfolio Management / Investment Consultancy

Citizenship - Indian Citizen

2) Corporate Entity

Networth Requirements - Rs. 20 lakhs excluding the value of membership/dealership/deposits with OTCEI / Other StockExchanges.

The minimum paid up capital (Rs 10 lakhs) plus free reserves (excluding revaluation reserves, capital reserves & specified
         reserves, cost of dealership & networth of other exchanges ) less
         accumulated losses, if any.

Minimum Educational Qualifications - Corporate- Graduate (applicable for 2 wholetime Directors)

Experience - Corporate - Minimum of 2 Wholetime Directors should possess a minimum of 2 years experience in either capital market /
        stockbroking / portfolio management / investment consultancy

Citizenship - Corporate - Company should be incorporated under Companies Act, 1956

Trading Infrastructure for Dealers:

Office space of at least 200 sq.ft. (own/long term lease of at least 5 years).

Two direct telephones.

Telex/Fax at the designated OTC Counter.

The entity should not be engaged in any fund based activity.

Dealership Selection Procedure

Prospective Dealers to submit an application in the prescribed form.

Criteria for selection at all stages will be as decided by OTCEI at its sole discretion and the decision of OTCEI in the selection process is final
