Exchange vide circular no. 0116/2004/CP/MDD/073 dated 9th January
2004 had advised the Members/Dealers to ensure compliance
with the requirements relating to SEBI (Central Database of
Market Participants) Regulations, 2003 in accordance with
the SEBI circular no. MAPIN/Cir-01/2004
dated January 01, 2004. It
may be noted that as per the said SEBI circular, the
specified intermediaries are required to obtain a unique
identification number (UIN) before 31st March
2004 and that they shall not function as an intermediary
from 1st April 2004 if the UIN has not been
obtained for themselves and their related persons. Hence,
Members/Dealers are once again advised to ensure due
compliance with the said requirements. Members/Dealers
are also advised to intimate to the Exchange of their
compliance in the format given as Annexure, so as to reach
the Membership Department of the Exchange latest by 26th
